SRJJ KNOCK-OUT 2028 | 1 | Red Angus Bull | Knock-Out 2028 has been the leader for starting the sale all year. He has had that herd bull look all summer and exhibits as much growth as any bull we have ever produced. 2028 is extremely long bodied, square, and free moving. Knock-Out will consistently sire performance and length. His dam, C54, has been a great producer and is a cow everyone finds when touring the females. The Gusty cow family is known to be dark cherry red and have a perfect udder and foot. |
SRJJ HIGH TIME 2121 | 2 | Red Angus Bull | This is one of my favorite bulls in the sale. 2121 exemplifies what we strive to produce at Sandhill Red Angus. He embodies power and performance in a package that doesn’t sacrifice the female. His fertility and function is proven back in the pedigree for generations. Consistency is key and that is why we plan on using 2121 in our herd for years to come. The Vanessa cows have been a main stay for us. We flushed a Vanessa cow this summer and F96 would have been at the top of the list if she had a little more age. 2121 will sire big ribbed, easy keeping, fertile cattle. |
SRJJ FIRST FUEL 2041 | 3 | Red Angus Bull | POWER IS THE ONLY WAY TO EXPLAIN 2041!!! He is wide based, long spined, and extremely square. I don’t think we can make a bull that has more muscle and thickness. 2041 was the heaviest calf at weaning and he kept going to have the heaviest yearling weight. It will be very hard to find a Red Angus bull with more power and presence that sells this spring. His dam, C62, has a perfect udder that is sure to be pasted on to 2041 off-spring. |
SRJJ KICK-START 2189 | 4 | Red Angus Bull | It is hard to know where to start! Sexually correct may be the best way to explain 2189. Kick-Start has had that herd bull look since he was born and he has great breed character. I have been saying for years that we need to add some base-width back into these cattle and 2189 is as wide as a truck. His sire, G668, was purchased from Dvoraks Brothers in Nebraska. When we bought G668, this is the kind of animal we had in mind. Cattle that have extra performance, but yet kept that Angus type. 2189 has a perfect skull, is excellent in his lines, and to exhibit as much masculinity as 2189 does at a young age is truly breed changing. Kick-Starts greatest attribute may be the females he will leave behind. His dam, 47E, was purchased from the T-K dispersal, where she was the high selling bred heifer. 47E caught our eye that day and still is an absolute stunner. His Grand dam, 69C, was one of the high sellers that day, selling to Leif Brost of Hawkeye Ranching Company. 69C has turned into a prolific donor and we see 47E doing the same.Potential for shared possession is an option. Inquire for details. |
SRJJ HIGH STANDARD 2001 | 5 | Red Angus Bull | This bull is a calving ease specialist. 2001 is a rarity in that he doesn’t sacrifice structure and substance in a sure shot calving ease bull. 2001 goes back to our Vanessa cow family, so you are sure to have daughters you will want to keep in your herd.Heifer Bull |
SRJJ KEYED-UP 2147 | 6 | Red Angus Bull | “Wow” is all you can say when you see 2147 in the pen. His overall width and crazy amount of chest floor is hard to miss. His masculine herd bull look, along with all the red meat he possesses, makes him a heifer bull that is hard to replicate.Heifer Bull |
SRJJ KINETIC 2112 | 7 | Red Angus Bull | 2112 is a meat wagon. He has as much red meat as any bull in the sale. Very wide based and free moving, 2112 is a definite herd bull. Kinetic reminds me a lot of his maternal grand sire, T-K Untapped 21Z. His dam E146 is a long spined, big middled female. |
SRJJ HIGH TIME 2094 | 8 | Red Angus Bull | 2094 is the easiest going calf in the pen. His disposition is great and his dam has done a great job for us so far. You will want to keep every heifer. |
SRJJ HIGH TIME 2199 | 9 | Red Angus Bull | This is definitely one of my favorite bulls in the sale. His performance records are amazing, with a 112 WW ratio and 113 YW ratio. 2199’s dam is a beautiful young cow that has one of the best udders in our herd. If you are looking for a performance bull that will fix udders and disposition, 2199 is your bull. |
