We are offering 25 head of bred three-year-old cows. All are F1 baldies out of our own, home raised cows, sired by Sparks Hereford bulls and bred back to Lunds B Bar Angus and McNamee Angus bulls. These are home raised heifers sired by Helbling Herefords and Bar Star Herefords. Heifers start calving 4-9 for 42 days, bred to calving ease Cook Angus and McCumber Cow Power 1118 sons. Heifers have been grazing corn stalks and hay fields with cow boss liquid feed since Nov 11 until Jan. 5. After Jan. 5 they have been supplemented with alfalfa and chopped hay. Heifers are located 20 miles east of Miles City on the Yellowstone River. These are do-it yourself heifers that take care of themselves that are out of a set of selfsufficient cows. Heifers were given Preguard 10 in spring 2025, and given Vira shield 6 VL5+HB in fall 2025 and poured. Heifers were ultrasound on Sept 8 by Dr. Don Beck and retested by Dr. Cal Davison week before sale.
